Programming Your Wireless Keypad

andofferconvenientaccesswithouthavingtocarryatransmitter.
Terms to understand:
Access Code–The2to5-digitcodeusedtoopenthegate(24uniquecodesarepossible).Ifaccess
codeislessthan5digitsitrequiresthe#signaftercodeisentered.Example:“2#.”Ifcodeis5digits
the#signisnotrequired.CAN NOT BE THE SAME AS THE MASTER PASSWORD.
Master Password–The5-digitcodeusedtoaccessprogrammingfeatures.Factorydefaultis“11111”.
Thisshouldbechangedforsecurityreasons.NOT USED TO OPEN GATE AND CAN NOT BE THE
SAME AS THE ACCESS CODE.
Relay 1–Thereceiverhas2relays.P1(relay1)ispre-wiredtotheJ1connector.
Relay 2–Thereceiverhas2relays.P2(relay2)ispre-wiredtothe“Open/FreeExit”onJ1connector.
Keypad Security Code (Dip Switch Code)–Thiscodemakesyourkeypaduniquetoyourinstallation.
Keypaddoesnothavedipswitcheslikethetransmitter;insteadithasvirtualdipswitcheswhichmust
beprogrammed.
PUK Code–“PasswordUnblockingKey.”ThePUKcodeislocatedinsidethekeypadandisneeded
whenthemasterpasswordhasbeenlost.Recordinspaceaboveforfuturereference.Mustbe5
digitslong.
“ * ” Key–locatedonthekeypadisusedtocancellastcommandentered.
Red Light Blinks–Whenblinking,thekeypadissendingasignaltothereceiver.Validaccesscodewas
entered.ThisistheBlue5keyonthemetalkeypad.
Note: Donotinstallkeypaduntil“CreateCommunicationwithReceiverP1(relay1)”hasbeencompleted.

1.EntertheMasterPassword“11111”.(thisisthefactorydefaultmasterpassword).
2.Enter“9”Ifcorrect,2shortbeeps(if1longbeepisheard,startoverwithstep1).
3.EnterthenewAccessCode(upto5digits),iflessthan5digits,“#orB”keyisrequired.
4.Enter“9”
5.EnterthenewAccessCodeagaintoverify.
6.Enter“1”.IfthisaccesscodeisforP1(relay1)Enter“2”ifthisaccesscodeisforP2(relay2).
7.Ifcorrect,2shortbeeps(if1longbeepisheard,startoverwithstep1).
8.Continuewith“CreateCommunicationwithReceiver”tocompleteprogramming.(pg32)
NOTE:Step6aboveallowsyoutoselectauniquefrequency(1,2,3,4)fortheaccesscodeyouare
creating.Keypadcanbeprogrammedwith4differentaccesscodeseachhavingauniquefrequency.
Thisisusedwhenmultiplegatesarewithinrangeofthekeypad.Createanaccesscodeusing1in
step6foronegate.Createanaccesscodeusing2instep6forthesecondgate.Thisallowsone
keypadprogrammedwith2accesscodestooperate2differentgateswithinrangeortwokeypads
canbeinstalledon2differentgateswithoutinterferingwitheachother.If4gateswereinvolvedthen
3and4couldbeusedinstep6.Alsousedtocreateauniqueaccesscodetoactivatetheholdopen
featureofferedwithP2(relay2).
