High Fire Kiln Wash

High fire kiln wash protects the kiln bottom and
shelves from glaze drips. As a powder, kiln wash has
unlimited shelf life.
Kaolin Grog
5 lb. Bag (packed 4 per carton)
Kaolin grog is powdered insulating firebrick—a by-
product of kiln manufacturing. Mix kaolin grog with
just enough repair cement to hold the mixture together.
Use to fill in damaged areas on the brick bottom or
walls. Add kaolin grog to modeling clay to reduce
shrinking and warping. Make custom kiln furniture by
mixing 50/50 with fire clay. Inquire about economical
large volume purchases.
Grit Cloth
Grit Cloth 9” x 11”, 10 per pack
Remove mold seams, level the base of greenware
pieces. Abrasive-coated mesh allows residue to pass
through. May be rinsed with water and reused many
times.
Stilt Stone
4” x 3/8” square, 10 per pack
Remove stilt or glaze drip marks from the base of
your glazed pieces. Rub either end of this white aloxite
stone over area until smooth.
