Moving the product into place:
SentrySafe products are heavy, and
extra caution is advised when moving
them into place. SentrySafe does
NOT recommend removal of doors.
Minimum safe depth may be achieved
by fully opening the door or doors.
To install the smaller safes and
cabinets, we recommend using an
appliance dolly, which can be obtained
from a local rental service. For the
larger safes, we recommend
that professional movers install the
product.
Do not use the product’s handles to lift
or move the product because damage
to the latching system may result. To
protect the product from paint nicks or
scratches, make sure that the product
will not rub against any metal surface
of the dolly before proceeding further.
Next, tilt the product and slide the
bottom plate of the dolly under it.
Securely strap the product to the dolly,
and move to the desired location. To
unload, tilt the dolly forward, remove
the product from the dolly and gently
slide into place. All products are
designed to be used in a level and
plumb condition properly.
Use a carpenter’s level to insure a
proper resting attitude. Use shims
where necessary. The product must be
level to function properly.
