Door closing and locking
All SentrySafe cabinets and safes are
equipped with a live bolt mechanism.
If you have a media safe with internal
and external doors, the internal
door(s) must be closed fi rst. Safes
with double outer doors require that
the left door be closed before the
right door. Be sure the door’s handle
is in the open position before closing
the door to prevent damage to the
bolt work.
Note: Your combination
lock will not operate when the door
handle is in the open position.
Remember — Open doors do not
provide protection. SentrySafe
products use the latest technology to
protect your valuables. During a fi re,
the insulation is designed to release
moisture to create a protective heat
barrier. If you are storing valuables
that are sensitive to moisture, such as
stamps, money, watches, etc. in your
Class 350 Record Safe or Cabinet,
please place them in a well-sealed,
humidity resistant container to protect
them from moisture damage. Items
stored in Class 125 Media Safes and
Cabinets will not need additional
protection from humidity.
Capacity maximum
recommended weight:
Roll-out shelves–100 lbs.
Adjustable shelves–120 lbs.
Drawers–60 lbs.
Multi-media drawers–30 lbs.
The weight should be evenly
distributed across the shelf. Exceeding
the maximum recommended capacity
may seriously damage your product’s
accessory.
