Filling the drawers
Maximum recommended weight:
The weight should be evenly distributed throughout the
fi le. Exceeding the maximum recommended capacity may
seriously damage your fi le’s suspension.
VERTICAL FILES
20” Letter File – 30 lbs per drawer
25” Letter File – 40 lbs. per drawer
25” Legal File – 60 lbs. per drawer
31” Letter File – 52 lbs. per drawer
31” Legal File – 78 lbs. per drawer
LATERAL FILES
30” Lateral File – 75 lbs. per drawer
36” Lateral File – 93 lbs. per drawer
43” Lateral File – 114 lbs. per drawer

During a fi re, the insulation is designed to release moisture to create a protective barrier. If you are storing
valuables that are sensitive to moisture, such as stamps, money, watches, etc., please place them in a sealed,
humidity resistant container to protect them from moisture damage.

Installing the hanger bar
• Put hanger bar in the desired back slot
Legal size - slot C
Letter size - slot A
A-4 size - slot B
• Slide bar as far as possible to the back
• Put front of hanger bar in desired size front slot
• Slide bar forward untl notch in bar engages
