Checking the DVR condition & mounting 
When doing your scheduled preventative maintenance, take a moment to check the physical 
condition of the DVR. 
  Is there any visible damage to the exterior of the unit? 
  Is the locking front cover locked and secure? 
  Is the DVR securely attached to the mounting plate and is the mounting plate fully 
secured in place? 
  If the cables enter the cable cover through a side or rear knockout hole, is the cable 
grommet fully intact to protect the cables from wear?
