UART Expected Usage
UART0: Main AT interface to be connected with host
application. Wake from low power via HW flow control is
active in this UART.
UART1: Debug interface. Wake from low power via HW
flow control is active in this UART.
UART2: Modem console or debug interface.
Figure 3a represents the typical implementation for the
hardware flow control for UART0, UART1, and UART2. TXD and
RXD signals are mandatory.
CTS/RTS are mandatory in order to control SiP low power
modes. The SKY66430 is designed for use as data
communications equipment (DCE). Based on the conventions for
DCE-DTE connections, the DCE device will communicate with
the customer application (DTE) using the following signals:
Port TXD on the Application send data to the SKY66430 SIN
signal line.
Port RX on the Application receives data from the SKY66430
SOUT signal line.
