English and hard-of-hearing users, please do not use the automatic ON setting. This protects normal hearing users from sudden acoustic shock due to loud volume setting. This automatic setting can be selected via a slide switch and is recommended for a single user household. Talking CID and Talking Keypad feature can also be set to ON / OFF via a second slide switch. Open battery compartment cover to expose two small slide switches as shown. 1.

English 45. REMOTE MESSAGE RETRIEVAL: CL-60A allows the user to retrieval messages while away. The remote code (default is “0000”) must be entered at the end of the greeting message when you call in. (Note: Pressing “4” in the middle of a message playback only deletes that message. However, pressing “4” at the end of all message playback deletes all saved messages but not new messages.) 1. La longueur maximale de chaque message ou mémo est limitée à 3 minutes, et le nombre maximal de messages enregistrés est de 50.
