rows/columns needed!
Flowing tables
It is possible to create tables that can be split into multiple parts on the
same page or even across multiple pages. This is useful if you're planning
to present a large amount of table data or if you're constrained by your
existing page design; for either reason, table placement becomes that
much easier.
Even though physically split, each table portion still maintains a link
with previous and next tables. This allows additional rows or columns to
be added, with the table reflowing subsequent rows or columns.
You can design your flowing table from scratch or split up an existing
table already on the page.
