Adjustments to be made regularly
Adjustment of Part of the Heat Curve
At
outdoor
temperatur
es
between
-5°C
and
+5°C
par
t
of
the
heat
curve
may
need
adjusting
if
the
indoor
temperatur
e
does
not
stay
at
the
pr
eset
ROOM
value.
For
this
r
eason,
the
contr
ol
system
includes
a
function
adjust-
ing
the
curve
at
thr
ee
outside
temperatures:
-5°C,
0°C,
+5°C.
This
function
will
allow
you
to
incr
ease
or
r
educe
the
supply
line
temperature,
without
af
fecting
the
heat
curve,
at
thr
ee
specific
outdoor
temperatures.
If,
for
example,
the
outside
temperatur
e
is
-5°C,
the
supply
line
temperatur
e
will
change
gradually
in
the
outdoor
temperatur
e
range
of
0°C
to
-
10°C,
maximum
adjustment
being
r
eached
at
-5°C.
The
diagram
below shows
an
adjusted
CURVE
-5.
The
point
of
maximum
adjustment
is
clearly
visible.
As
we
have
seen,
you
can
choose
to
adjust
the
heat
curve
at
thr
ee
specified
out
-
side
air
temperatures:
-5°C,
0°C
and
+5°C.
The
supply
line
temperatur
e
can
be changed
by
plus/minus
5
degr
ees.
Adjus tment of ROOM value
As
mentioned
above,
you
can
also
adjust
heat
curve
and
indoor
temperatur
e
by changing
the
ROOM
value.
If
you
use
ROOM
value
to
adjust
the
heat
curve,
the
gradient
does
not
change,
i.e.
it
doesn’t
become
steeper
or
flatter
.
Instead,
the
whole
curve
is
moved
by
3°C
for
every
degr
ee
by
which
the
ROOM
value
is changed.
The
r
elation
supply
line
temperatur
e
to
outside
air
temperatur
e
will
not
be
af
fected.
The
supply
line
temperatur
e
will
be
incr
eased
or
r
educed
by
the
same number
of
degr
ees
all
along
the
heat
curve.
See
the
following
diagram.
Adjustment
of
the
ROOM
value
should
only
be
used
for
temporary
changes
of
the indoor
temperature.
For
long
term
settings,
the
CURVE
value
should
be
adjusted
as
this
is
the
most
ener
gy
and
cost
efficient
way
to
set
the
indoor
temperature.
For
adjusting
the
heat
curve,
please
r
efer
to
the
chapter
”Adjustment
of
the
CURVE
value”
on
page
29.
Factory
setting
of
ROOM
value
is
20°C.
Changing the ROOM
value
If
you
wish
to
change
the
ROOM
value:
1
Pr

the
”up”
or
”down”
button
once
to
open
the
ROOM
value
for
adjustment.
2
Incr
ease
or
r
educe
the
pr
eset
value
using
the
”up”
or
”down”
button
so
that
the
desir
ed
r

temperatur
e
is
r
eached.
