Before the appliance is used for the fi rst
time, it should be thoroughly cleaned as
described in Cleaning and care.
How to use
Changing the trimming heads
∙ Turn the appliance off.
∙ Turn the trimming head anti-clockwise
until the open-lock symbol on the head
is exactly aligned with the marking on
the rear of the appliance, and pull the
head off.
∙ Attach the trimming head and turn it
clockwise until the closed-lock symbol
on the head is aligned with the marking
on the rear of the appliance.
Operation
Nose hair trimmer
∙ Take off the protective cover.
∙ Turn the appliance on.
∙ Insert the trimming head carefully into
the nose and start trimming the hair.
∙ Turn the trimmer off and re-fi t the
protective cover.
Beard contour trimmer
Turn the appliance on and start defi ning the
beard contours, always starting at the top
and working downwards.
Cleaning and care
∙ Ensure that the appliance is switched off
before cleaning.
∙ Do not immerse the appliance in liquids.
Use a damp cloth to wipe the surfaces.
Nose hair trimmer
∙ Clean the trimming head after use with
the cleaning brush provided.
∙ For thorough cleaning, remove the head
and rinse properly. Shake off any excess
water, let dry and replace the head on
the appliance.
Contour trimmer
∙ After use, remove any hair caught
between the trimming comb and blade
using the cleaning brush provided.
Caution: Both comb and blade are
extremely sharp.
