- It all Adds Up
Rear Compartment
Depending on the size of your rear compartment, plan the
placement of your transceiver, amplifier, and battery so that
you retain access to your spare tire and your tools.
Constructing a plywood platform (see discussion of rear com-
partment in Chapter 6) which could mount on spacers or
rubber feet can hold equipment securely and still give spare
tire access.
