S5b is an Android, iOS portable mobile game controller for "on-the-go" gaming play, but it supports also Windows PC, Notebook, Mac PC, Chromebook, Apple TV, and Android TV box. It is compatible with down-load gaming, Steam Epic Games as well as most major cloud game service such as Stadia, X-cloud, Geforce, Luna. One step more, by our own SHAKS GameHub app, S5b lets you play AAA touch-gaming by console grade controller, name a few, Garena Free Fire, CoD, PUBG, Genshin Impact, Roblox, Slamdunk etc.
Tips) S5b mode is initialized by booting. On power off status, the mode change is not validated. Once you change mode, please reboot it by power off and on again. Back to Contents Connect your device to controller 3 Step setup: In power-off status, select the mode and power on again for booting. 1. Select gamepad mode per your device in the table.
Tips) S5b is not supporting Xbox, Switch, PS4 consoles. In the same device, S5b is automatically pairing again whenever you use it again without the pairing process again (Auto-repairing) S5b can be paired to one device per an exactly matched mode. If you wish to switch from one device to another, please delete previously log data from your device to deactivate its automatic repairing feature. And make a new pairing process. Mode can be initialized by booting.
Connecting with iOS device 1. Mode setting: Power off, change the mode to 'iOS Switch', and power it on. 2. Connecting: Please proceed “Pairing” process and check Bluetooth name “Xbox Wireless Controller”. If you did pair it already, S5b will be automatically repaired. 3. When pairing is successful: LED signals #2,3,5 turn off and #1,4 light up. Connecting on Mapping Mode (for Android only) 1. Mode setting: Power off, change the mode to 'Mapping Switch', and power it on. 2.
Tips) The reset key on the gamepad is powered off by force in any emergency case. At any stage, you can go pairing status by pressing 'Pairing Button' by pressing 6 seconds more The last paired profile will be tried to re-connect (auto repairing feature). If fail, the next one is being tried in a sequence. “Cached log data” can be cleared by OS by 2-5 minutes automatically.
Mouse Mode works only on Android Mode. In other modes, it is not working. iOS, iPad OS is not allowing any mapping application by their official policy. Windows is not supporting mapping. Alternatively, you can use each game setting - key reassignment program. For example, in the Steam game, you can edit key mapping in the controller setting menu. or try to use x360ce, Xpadder program. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE like the old version OS (6.0.1 lower) can allow only S-pen.
Single Mac ID is recognized as a single BT device. If you switch gamepad mode (for example, Mapping mode ↔ Android), please delete the previously paired log. This is to avoid confusing one Mac ID with two-mode. Windows connection is made correctly, but I am not able to play game 1. Check the mode is in Windows 2. [ Calibration] When you using a gamepad sometimes or heavily, the position of the analog stick or trigger could be noncentered. In such a case, this calibration app can adjust the position accordingly again to be centered. 1. Select stick icon (LS/RS) 2. Draw stick and release it, move it to the center point 3. Calculating center value, waiting until complete. 4. Move the stick to each direction and wait until completed. Up→ down→ left→ right direction by turn.

Back to Contents Registering Gamepad Set the gamepad in "Win-MAC mode" before pairing via Bluetooth. 1. Change mode and power on S2 series and S3 series: Turn on the power by pressing SHAKS logo button with pressing “Select” button. The SHAKS gamepad will remember last booting mode, you can re-connect "Win-MAC mode" by just turning on the power using SHAKS logo button. S5 series: They have a dedicated switch for mode. So, move the switch to Win-MAC mode and turn on the power by pressing SHAKS logo button.
💡 If the SHAKS gamepad is already registered as a Bluetooth device on a Windows PC with Android mode, the below behavior is required. Since the device type ID in “Android mode” and “Win-MAC mode” are different, two different devices cannot be registered sharing the same Bluetooth MAC. Proceed like the following 1) Remove SHAKS GamePad from Windows Bluetooth devices list. 2) Turn off and on the Bluetooth device or restart Windows. 3) Set gamepad to Windows Mode and pair it again with the computer.
