IMPORTANT: Area window well shape can
change during shipping. Prior to installation,
measure the distance between the two inside
mounting anges and adjust the sidewalls of
the well to the specic ordered product width.
1. Mark the location of the top mounting holes on the foundation.
Note: Flanges should be attached to the foundation wall at 12”
centers minimum to assure structural stability.
2. Drill (2) holes on the markings and remove all concrete dust
from the holes before proceeding.
3. Attach the window well using the 3/8” concrete sleeve or
wedge anchors.
4. Using the remaining holes on the window well ange, drill the
remaining holes.
5. Place the remaining hardware into the drilled holes, add 1” at
washers and nuts to tighten into place.
6. Place decorative rock in the base of the area window well for
drainage and structural support.
7. Place ll evenly around the outside of the area window well in
12” layers using non-mechanical compaction to ensure the well
prole doesn’t become distorted.
IMPORTANT: Failure to follow installation steps will void manufac-
turers warranty.
