Quick Start When assembling your steam mop there may be a little water in or around the water tank. This is because we test all our steam mops 100% before you buy them, so you get a quality Shark® Steam Pocket® Mop. 1 3 2 4 1 2 3 ASSEMBLE Insert the mop handle into the pump actuator (the tube that leads to the tank). Push the mop handle and pump actuator together until you hear them click into place. Select a mop head. Choose the All-Purpose, Versa-Tile™ or Large Area mop head.
QUICK TIP: For easier pushing and pulling, extend the handle length. 6 5 6 PREPARE For your comfort, you can adjust the height of the mop. Just lift the latch on the tube 90 degrees to the open position. Holding the handle, extend the tube to the height that is right for you and then close latch to locked position. Plug in mop and wait 30 seconds or less for the mop to heat up. Pump the handle of the mop by pushing downward about 10 to 12 times to create steam.

English 1 2 IMPORTANT: Always make sure the mop is UNPLUGGED from the wall when not in use. Never fill the mop, attach the mop head, change or remove the micro-fiber pocket when the mop is plugged into the wall. If you have hard water you might want to use distilled water to prolong the life of the Shark® Steam Pocket® Mop. Make sure you only add water to the tank. Chemicals or cleaning solutions may damage the appliance and could be unsafe for you and your family.
Getting Started 4 3 3 Snap the mop head into the base to secure it. Press the release button to exchange mop heads. 4 Turn the water tank cap counter clockwise and remove from the tank. Use the filling flask and pour water into the tank. Do not overfill. Using Your Steam Pocket® Mop IMPORTANT: Do not use the mop without first attaching a micro-fiber pocket and adding water to the tank first. When you are using the mop for the first time, it might take longer than the normal 30 seconds to start steaming. Just pump the handle a few times in a downward motion to prime the pump and it should be ready. 2 1 NOTE: Make sure the floors are swept or vacuumed before using the steam mop.
English 3 3 When one side of the micro-fiber Steam Pocket® gets dirty, just flip the mop head and you can quickly start using the other side. Dirt cannot hide on either side. IMPORTANT: Please wait 3-5 minutes for the Steam Pocket® Mop to cool off before switching the mop head or the micro-fiber Steam Pocket® . 4 When the water tank is empty, the steam mop will stop producing steam. You can refill the water tank at any time as long as the mop is unplugged from the outlet.
Using Your Carpet Glider The Steam Pocket® Mop will not clean your carpeting or area rugs. However, it is great for deodorizing and freshening. 1 THE CARPET GLIDER 1 The Carpet Glider can be used with the All-Purpose Mop Head to lightly steam your carpet and area rugs. Just place the mop head on top of the glider and move back and forth across a section of the carpet. The Steam Pocket® mop will not clean your carpeting or areas rugs, but it is great for deodorizing and freshening.
English Care of Your Steam Pocket® Mop AFTER USE AND STORAGE 1 When you have finished using the Steam Pocket® Mop, unplug the cord from the outlet and move it into an upright position. Let the unit cool 3-5 minutes and release steam by pumping the handle several times before removing the micro-fiber Steam Pocket® from the mop head.
Care of Your Steam Pocket® Mop 2 1 CLEANING YOUR MICRO-FIBER STEAM POCKET® 1 We recommend washing your microfiber Steam Pocket® separately from other fabrics to avoid picking up lint. Only use liquid detergent (no powder detergent). Do not use any fabric softeners or bleach. Do not pull on them or cut at the base.
English Troubleshooting Guide PROBLEM Steam Pocket® Mop will not turn on. Steam Pocket® Mop will not make steam. Steam Pocket® Mop leaves water on the floor. Steam Pocket® Mop is hard to push. POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS Your Steam Pocket® Mop should be securely plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet only. Check your fuse or breaker. Prime the pump, see page 6 for more information. Is there water in the water tank? If not, add water to your Steam Pocket® Mop following the instructions.
