Connecting Peripheral Equipment
Caution
Be sure to turn off the main power switch and disconnect
the plug from the power outlet before connecting/
disconnecting cables. Also, read the manual of the
equipment to be connected.
Do not use any cable that has a damaged or deformed
terminal. Using such cables may cause malfunctions.
Do not forcibly bend or apply force to cables. Doing so may
result in wire breakage or other damage.
TIPS
Images may not be displayed properly depending on the
computer (video card) to be connected.
If the audio output from the playback device is connected
directly to speakers or other devices, the video on the
monitor may appear delayed from the audio portion.
Audio should be played through this monitor by connecting
the playback device to the monitor, and connecting the
monitor’s audio output to the speakers or other devices.
1. HDMI1 input terminal (8K)
Use a commercially available HDMI cable (conforming to
the HDMI standard).
To input 4K video, a 4K-compliant cable is required. And
to input 8K video, a 8K-compliant cable is required.
2. HDMI2 input terminal (8K, HDMI×4)
Use a commercially available HDMI cable (conforming to
the HDMI standard) that supports 4K. All 4 cables must
be identical.
8K display is available when all 4 of
4K
input signals are
synchronized.
Connect cables according to the display positions.
Connect so that output signals from 8K-output-compliant
device are displayed on the appropriate positions.

Select an audio input in HDMI2 AUDIO SELECT of
the SETUP menu. (HDMI2-A

3. HDMI3 input terminal (4K)
Use a commercially available HDMI cable (conforming to
the HDMI standard).
To input 4K video, a 4K-compliant cable is required.
