CONTROL OF THE HEAT PUMP
Heat pump is main (primary) heat source in schemes 419, 420, 422, 422b, 422c and
422d. Heat pump can be also activated as a primary heat sources in schemes 401b, 404b,
404d, 404e, 409, 409b, 410, 410b, 410c, 411, 416, 416b, 416c. 421, 423b, 423c, 423d and
423e. In doing so, it becomes the current controlled heat source, it’s an oil, gas or electric
boiler, additional or secondary heating source.
By setting the service parameter S1.11 = 6 (R0) or S1.12 = 7 (R9), you program relay out-
put R0 or R9 for controlling heat pump.
Operation mode of heat pump and secondary heat source (oil boiler, electric boiler) is set
with parameters S6.17, S6.18 and S6.19.

When outdoor temperature drops below setted temperature, auxiliary (secondary) heat
source is activated if heat pump cannot supply requested temperature.
Auxiliary heat source is activated with delay, when the outdoor temperature is lower as
temperature for monovalent operation and higher as temperature for bivalent operation.

PUMP FOR RETURN-PIPE TEMPERATURE INCREASE (BYPASS PUMP)
This option is available for classic liquid fuel boilers and solid fuel boilers with no connec-
tion to heat accumulator. Output (R0 or R9) can be used to control the bypass pump to
increase boiler return temperature. Such operation mode is set with parameter S1.11=4
(R0) or S1.12=5 (R9). Install the T1 or T8 sensor in the boiler return-pipe before the by-
pass connection and set parameter S1.4=9 (for sensor T1) or S1.5=12 (for sensor T8). If
return-pipe temperature drops below the temperature set by parameter S5.14, the pump is
switched on.
DOMESTIC HOT WATER
D. h. w. warming with liquid fuel boiler
Set the required d. h. w. temperature for the inactive time program interval with parameter
P1.4. If boiler temperature exceeds the maximum boiler temperature (parameter S5.1), the
d. h. w. will be warmed up to the maximum temperature set with parameter S4.3.
D. h. w. warming pump is switched off with delay. The delay time is set with parameter
S4.12.
