Continuous tone 3 seconds Indicates the end of transmission,
reception, or copying.
Intermittent tone

(1 second on, 1

Indicates incomplete transmission,
reception, or copying.
SLEEP:RX ONLY The machine is in SLEEP: RX ONLY mode (only fax
reception can take place). To switch back to STAND-
BY mode for normal operation, press the POWER
key.
