Connect a Bluetooth Headset or Car Kit
YoucanlistentomusicoveraBluetoothstereoheadset,orhavehands-freeconversationsusinga
compatibleBluetoothheadsetorcarkit.It’sthesameproceduretosetupstereoaudioandhands-
freedevices.
Tolistentomusicwithyourheadsetorcarkit,theheadsetorcarkitmustsupporttheA2DP
Bluetoothprofile.

Touch > >Settings >Bluetooth.

IfBluetoothisnotswitchedon,touchtheon/offslidertoturnBluetoothon .
3. Makesurethattheheadsetisdiscoverable,sothatyourphonecanfindtheheadset.Referto
theinstructionsthatcamewiththeheadsettofindouthowtosetittodiscoverablemode.
4. TouchSEARCH FOR DEVICES.YourphonewillstarttoscanforBluetoothdeviceswithin
range.
5. Whenyouseethenameofyourheadsetdisplayedinthe“AVAILABLEDEVICES”section,
touchthename.Yourphonethenautomaticallytriestopairwiththeheadset.
6. Ifautomaticpairingfails,enterthepasscodesuppliedwithyourheadset.
Thepairingandconnectionstatusisdisplayedbelowthehands-freeheadsetorcarkitnameinthe
“PAIREDDEVICES”section.WhentheBluetoothheadsetorcarkitisconnectedtoyourphone,
theBluetoothpairedicon isdisplayedinthestatusbar.Dependingonthetypeofheadsetorcar
kityouhaveconnected,youcanthenstartusingtheheadsetorcarkittolistentomusicormakeand
receivephonecalls.
Note: DuetodifferentspecificationsandfeaturesofotherBluetooth-compatibledevices,displayand
operationsmaybedifferent,andfunctionssuchastransferorexchangemaynotbepossiblewithall
Bluetooth-compatibledevices.
Reconnect a Headset or Car Kit
Whenyouhavepairedaheadsetwithyourphone,youshouldbeabletoreconnectitautomatically
byturningonBluetoothonyourphoneandturningontheheadset.However,sometimesyouwill
needtoreconnectmanually,forexampleifyouhavebeenusingyourheadsetwithanother
Bluetoothdevice.
