Touch > >Settings >Storage.
2. Scrolldownthescreen,touchErase SD card >Erase SD card.
3. TouchErase everythingtoconfirmtheprocess.
Note: TheformattingprocedureerasesallthedataonthemicroSDcard,afterwhichthefilesCANNOTbe
retrieved.Topreventthelossofimportantdata,pleasecheckthecontentsbeforeyouformatthecard.
Unmount the microSD Card
WhenyouneedtoremovethemicroSDcard,youmustunmountthemicroSDcardfirsttoprevent
corruptingthedatastoredonitordamagingthemicroSDcard.Sinceyouwillremovethebattery
coverfirstbeforeyoucanremovethemicroSDcard,closeallrunningapplicationsonyourphone
andsaveanydatafirst.

Touch > >Settings >Storage.
2. TouchUnmount SD card>OK.
3. RemovethemicroSDcard.SeeRemoveamicroSDCard.
Use the Phone’s microSD Card as a USB Drive
Totransfermusic,pictures,andotherfilesfromyourcomputertoyourphone’smicroSDcard,you
needtosetthephone’smicroSDcardasaUSBdrive.Formoredetailsabouttransferringcontent
betweenyourphoneandacomputer,seeTransferFilesBetweenYourPhoneandaComputer.
1. ConnectyourphonetoyourcomputerusingthesuppliedmicroUSBcable.
l Insertthesmallerendofthecabletothecharger/accessoryjackatthebottomofthephone.
l InserttheUSBendofthecableintoanavailableUSBportonyourcomputer.Youmay
needtoremovetheUSBcablefromthechargerbodytoaccessit.

When appearsinthenotificationsarea,dragthestatusbardowntodisplaythenotifications
window.YouwillseeUSB connectedandConnected as an installer.
l Ifanoptionotherthanaboveisselected,touchConnected as a media deviceor
Connected as a cameraandthenUSB mass storage (UMS).
3. Afterclosingthenotificationswindow,touchTurn on USB storage,andthentouchOK.
4. Dooneofthefollowing:
l Copyfilesfromthecomputertotherootfolderonthephone’sstoragecard.
l Copyfilesfromthephone’sstoragecardtoafolderonyourcomputerorcomputerdesktop.
