Activate Your Phone
Followtheinstructionsbelowtoactivateyourphoneifithasnotalreadybeenactivated.Depending
onyouraccountorhowandwhereyoupurchasedyourphone,itmaybereadytouseoryoumay
needtoactivateitonyourSprintaccount.
n IfyoupurchasedyourphoneataSprintStore,itisprobablyactivatedandreadytouse.
n IfyoureceivedyourphoneinthemailanditisforanewSprintaccountoranewlineofservice,it
isdesignedtoactivateautomatically.
l Whenyouturnthephoneonforthefirsttime,youshouldseeaHands Free Activation
screen,whichmaybefollowedbyaPRL UpdatescreenandaFirmware Updatescreen.
Followtheonscreeninstructionstocontinue.
n Ifyoureceivedyourphoneinthemailandyouareactivatinganewphoneforanexistingnumber
onyouraccount(you’reswappingphones),youcanactivateonyourcomputeronlineordirectly
onyourphone.
