Various settings
Set ring tone, operation sound, etc.

In the home screen, [R]/[Settings]/[Sound]

Select an item
Silent mode: Set to avoid disturbing others when in public.
Vibrate: Set whether to enable vibration for incoming calls.
Volume: Set the volume of ring tone, media play sound, etc.
• Alternatively, press x/y to change the volume.
Earphone type: Set the type of earphone connected.
Melody: Set the ring tone.
Vibration Pattern: Set the vibration pattern.
Incoming lamp: Set the blinking pattern and colour when receiving a call.
Notification sound: Set the sound for receiving a notification.
Ring duration: Set the ring duration.
Pulse notification light: Set whether to flash the lamp when receiving a notification.
Audible touch tones: Set whether to enable dialpad tones.
Audible selection: Set whether to enable operation sound for selecting items.
Screen lock sounds: Set whether to enable operation sound for locking or unlocking screen.
Haptic feedback: Set whether to enable vibration for specific key operations.
Set screen display etc.

Brightness: Set the brightness of backlight.
Auto-rotate screen: Set whether to switch the screen to horizontal/vertical display when rotating the phone 90° to the left/right.
Animation: Adjust level of animation when switching screens.
Screen timeout: Change how long the backlight stays lit while phone is left idle.
VeilView: Prevent others from seeing display.
Wallpaper: Change the background image for the home screen.
3D parallax: Set the stereoscopic effect of 3D display.
3D video playback settings: Change the settings for viewing 3D videos.
Game 3D settings: Change the settings for 3D compatible games.
Sound
Note that if vibration is enabled and the phone is left on a table, the vibration may cause it to fall off.
[Silent mode]
The following are not silenced even when Silent mode is enabled.
Shutter sound of camera
Record start/end sound of video camera
Record start/end sound of voice recorder
[Pulse notification light]
If no operations are performed for approximately 24 hours after notification lamp starts flashing, notification lamp will be turned off.
Display
[Brightness], [Screen timeout]
Note that increasing the brightness level or the screen timeout length will shorten stand-by time.
[VeilView]
Changing the pattern will alter how effectively others can see the display.
The darker the intensity, the more effectively others will be prevented from seeing the display.
While in 3D mode, VeilView is disabled.
VeilView is disabled if the power is turned off.
