Basic Operations

Saving Fingerprints
Save your fingerprints for fingerprint authentication.
・Up to five fingerprints can be saved.
In app sheet, (Settings) Other settings Lock
& Security
Lock & Security menu opens.
Fingerprint settings
Fingerprint settings appear.
・If confirmation appears, follow onscreen prompts.
Tap destination (e.g., Add new item1 )
Slide your finger pad across center of Fingerprint Sensor
・Slide repeatedly until the percentage is 100%.
・If the fingerprint is already saved, use a different finger.
Not now
・To activate an application, etc. when fingerprint
authentication is performed, Tap Continue to register
shortcut next then set the application, etc.
DONE NO
Fingerprint is saved.

To set screen unlock option, Tap YES . Follow onscreen
prompts.
In Case of Failure to Save Fingerprint
Keep your finger pressed on the sensor slightly harder
as you slide it. Using a different finger may also improve
authentication performance.
Fingerprint Saving Operations
Setting/Changing Names of Saved Fingerprints
In Fingerprint settings, Tap saved fingerprint
Rename Tap Name filed Enter name OK
Setting a Shortcut for Activating an
Application, Etc. when Fingerprint
Authentication Succeeds
In Fingerprint settings, Tap saved fingerprint Edit
shortcut Tap shortcut type (e.g., Application )
Tap/set function to activate with shortcut
・If a shortcut is already set, it is overwritten.
Deleting Shortcuts
In Fingerprint settings, Tap saved fingerprint Delete
shortcut
