Introduction The AR-FR4 adds a security function to the Sharp Digital Copier / Multifunction Laser Printer. When the security function is added to the Sharp Digital Copier / Multifunction Laser Printer, the image data generated for each printer, copier, network scanner, and fax job is encrypted, and when the job is finished, the encrypted data is erased from memory and the hard disk drive.

About the Security Function ■ SECURITY SETTINGS 1-(1) CLEAR ALL MEMORY Use this setting when you wish to manually clear data stored in the unit's memory and on the hard disk. NOTE We recommend that you execute this program before turning off the power. [Clear screen 1] ● To return to the "SECURITY SETTINGS" screen, touch the [NO] key. CLEAR ALL MEMORY?
