INTERNET FAX RECEPTION
This function is available only if the model of the main unit is AR-M355N or AR-M455N, or if the document filing
functions are expanded.
For reception of Internet-Fax data, this machine connects automatically to the mail (POP3) server at specified
intervals* to check to see if new Internet-Fax data has been received. If new data has been received, this machine
reads and prints it. However, you can manually check and print new Internet-Fax data immediately using the
following procedure.
* The setting is normally 5 minutes. This time can be adjusted using the key operator program, "Reception check
interval setting" (page 59
).

Press the [CUSTOM SETTINGS] key.

Touch the [FAX DATA RECEIVE/
FORWARD] key.

Touch the [I-FAX MANUAL RECEPTION]
key.

Touch the [RECEPTION START] key.
The machine connects to the mail server to check
to see if new Internet-Fax data has been received.
If new data has been received, this machine reads
and prints it.
If you touch the checkbox of [MANUAL
RECEPTION KEY IN INITIAL SCREEN] to display
the checkmark, the [I-FAX MANUAL
RECEPTION] key that has the same function as
the [RECEPTION START] key above will be
displayed in the CONDITION SETTING screen in
the INTERNET-FAX mode.

Touch the [OK] key to return to the custom
settings menu screen.

Touch the [EXIT] key to return to the initial
screen.
