BEFORE OPERATING
CLEAN THE OVEN
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before operating your oven, make sure you read
and understand this operation manual completely.
Before the oven can be used, follow these procedures:
1. Place the drip tray correctly. See page EN-6.
2. See below for getting started.

Follow directions on the right side for cleaning the
oven before fi rst use.
Your oven has an Energy Save Mode. This facility saves
electricity when the oven is not in use.
PROCEDURE

Open the door. The display will show ".0".

Plug the oven into a power socket.
Nothing will appear on the display at this time.
Close the door.
Now you can ready to use the oven.

CAUTION:
In Energy Save Mode, if you do not operate the oven
for 3 minutes or more (i.e. after closing the door, or
pressing Stop/Clear, or at the end of cooking), you
will not be able to operate the oven until you open
and close the oven door again.
NOTE:
When you set Child Lock or Demonstration Mode,
Energy Save Mode will be cancelled temporary.
1. Press Stop/Clear if you make a mistake during
programming.
2. Stop the oven temporarily during cooking.
3. Cancel a programme during cooking, press twice.
You may detect smoke or a burning smell when using
the grill for the fi rst time, this is normal and not a sign
that the oven is out of order. To avoid this problem,
when fi rst using the oven, operate the grill without food
for 20 minutes.
PREPARATION
Ventilate the room.

Ensure that no food is in the oven.
Press Grill.
Enter the time by pressing Time
(20.00) and Start/Instant Cook.

WARNING:
The oven door, outer cabinet, oven cavity and
especially the grill heating element will become hot.

If you set the clock (Clock Set Mode), Energy Save
Mode does not work.
* To enter the present time of day 11:34 (AM or PM).

Enter the hours by pressing
Time.
Enter the minutes
by pressing Time.
The display will show time of day
“11:34”

Press Start/Instant Cook.

Press Info/Timer.

Clock Set Mode (Clock Setting)

This is a 12-hour clock. If the clock is set, when
cooking is complete, the display will show the correct
time of day.
If the clock has not been set, the display will only show “.0”
when cooking is complete.
If the electrical power supply to your microwave oven
is interrupted, plug in the oven again, then open and
close the door. The display will show: “ .0 “. If this
occurs during cooking, the programme will be erased.
The time of day will also be erased.
