Fill the reservoir to the MAX mark except when using THERMAL, which does not use steam. The maximum amount of water that the reservoir 1 holds is 3 /2 cups. Use only fresh cold tap water. The frequency of descaling will depend on the hardness of the water that you use; the harder the water the more often descaling will be necessary.

Spatters and residue remaining from prolonged use, especially at high temperatures, are hard to clean and may interfere with good oven operation as well as decrease the useful life of the oven. Never use a chemical or abrasive cleaner on these surfaces.
