NOTE
Pleaseupdate your iPod unitto the latest softwareversion
before using it. Pleasevisit Apple's homepageto download
the latestversion for your iPod.
o Unplug allaccessoriesfor the iPod beforeconnected to the
main unit.
o Once connectedto the main unit,the iPodwill begin the
charging.
TheiPod unit cannot be chargedwhile the main unit is in
the stand-by mode.
System on operation
When the main unit is powered on, the iPod unit will
automatically power on when connected to the unit.
* Invalid for 3rd iPod Generation.
System off (stand=by operation)
When the main unit is turned to stand-by mode, the
iPod unit will automatically turn to stand-by mode.
See page 30 to connect the iPod cable to the main unit.
How to connect the iPod cable
Insert the connector into the terminal of the iPod.

How to disconnect the iPod cable
(_ Push both sides (indicatedby the arrows shown below) of
the connector.
(_)Pullout the connector from the terminal of the iPod.
