Raccorder l'antenne FM à la prise FM 75 OHMS et diriger l'antenne FM vers la direction qui assure la meilleure réception. „ Positionnement des enceintes „ Mode de démonstration Il n'y a pas de différence entre les deux enceintes. La première fois qu'on branche l'appareil, ce dernier entre en mode de démonstration. Appuyer sur l'une des touches 1 - 3 de la télécommande pour sélectionner un premier disque à enregistrer. L'enregistrement est mis en pause. 6 Appuyer sur la touche / (TAPE 2 ) pour déclencher l'enregistrement.
Copie entre cassettes On peut copier la cassette 1 vers la cassette 2. Pour l'enregistrement, utiliser seulement des cassettes normales. Éviter d'utiliser des cassettes métal ou CrO . Appuyer sur la touche ON/STAND-BY pour allumer l'appareil. Mettre une cassette enregistrée dans le compartiment TAPE 1 et une cassette vierge dans le compartiment TAPE 2. Il est conseillé d'utiliser deux cassettes de la même durée d'enregistrement.

Using the Radio Data System (RDS) (continued) „ Notes for RDS operation About the "TP" and "TA" indicators: RDS Radio - Using the Radio Data System (RDS) - If any of the following events occur, it does not mean that the unit is faulty: E-24 z "PS", "NO PS" and a station name appear alternately, and the unit does not operate properly. z If a particular station is not broadcasting properly or a station is conducting tests, the RDS reception function may not work properly.
1 Tune in to an RDS station (when its name is displayed). 2 Press the DISPLAY MODE button to select CT. 3 Note for clock-time and date mode: When the DISPLAY MODE button is pressed repeatedly to select CT, the data (Day-Month-Year) will be displayed for 3 seconds, and then the RDS clock time display will appear. The RDS clock time appears with "RDS", so that you will know it is not the internal clock time.
Listening to a Cassette Tape (TAPE 1 or TAPE 2) Tape Playback - Listening to a Cassette Tape (TAPE 1 or TAPE 2) - Before playback: z For playback, use normal or low-noise tapes for the best sound. (Metal or CrO tapes are not recommended.) z Do not use C-120 tapes or poor-quality tapes, as they may cause malfunctions. z Before loading a tape into the cassette compartment, tighten the slack with a pen or a pencil. Playback is possible in TAPE 1 compartment as well as in TAPE 2.

Load a prerecorded cassette into the TAPE 1 cassette compartment. Insert a blank tape into the TAPE 2 cassette compartment. 3 Press the TAPE (1 2) button until "TAPE 1" appears on the display. 4 Press the REC PAUSE button. ) Tape Recording ( Recording will be paused.
Timer and Sleep Operation Timer playback: The unit turns on and plays the desired source (CD, tuner, tape) at the preset time. „ Timer playback or Timer recording Before setting timer: Timer recording: The unit turns on and starts recording from the tuner at the preset time. 1 Press the CLOCK button to check that the clock is on time. 2 For timer playback: For timer recording: 1 2 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Enhancing Your System The connection lead is not included. Purchase a commercially available lead as shown below. VCR, DVD, etc. „ Listening to the playback sounds from VCR, DVD, etc. 1 Use a connection lead to connect the VCR, DVD, etc. to the VIDEO/ AUX sockets. When using video equipment, connect the audio output to this unit and the video output to a television.
