Place the AM loop aerial on a shelf, or attach it to a stand or a wall. Notes: ● Placing the aerial on the unit or near the AC power lead may cause noise pickup.
Remote Control ■ Battery installation Use 2 “AA” size batteries (UM/SUM-3, R6, HP-7 or similar). Batteries are not included. 1. Remove the battery cover. 2. Insert the batteries according to the direction indicated in the battery compartment. 3. Replace the cover. – Remote Control – Preparation for Use When inserting or removing the batteries, push them towards the ë battery terminals. Face the remote control directly to the remote sensor on the unit.
General Control ■ Demonstration mode The first time the unit is plugged, the unit will enter the demonstration mode. You will see words scroll. To return to the demonstration mode: When the unit is in the power stand-by mode, press the X-BASS/DEMO button again. Note: When the power is on, the X-BASS/DEMO button can be used to select the extra bass mode. ■ Display brightness (2 levels) You can switch the display brightness by pressing the DIMMER button.
Sound Control ■ Volume control Main unit operation: When the VOLUME control is turned clockwise, the volume will increase. When it is turned anti-clockwise, the volume will decrease. Remote control operation: Press the VOLUME „ button to increase the volume and the VOLUME ˛ button for decreasing. 1 2 .....
Setting the Clock 4 Press the TUNING/TIME (X X or W ) button to adjust the hour and then press the MEMORY/SET button. ● Press the TUNING/TIME (X or W) button once to advance the time by 1 hour. Hold it down to advance continuously. Hold it down to change the time in 5-minute intervals.
Listening to a CD (CDs) This system can play audio CD-R and CD-RW discs just as CD discs, but cannot perform recording. ■ To play discs in turn (from Disc 1 to Disc 6) 1 2 3 4 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on. Mettre une cassette enregistrée dans le compartiment TAPE 1 et une cassette vierge dans le compartiment TAPE 2.
