CD-PC3500 EXPLANATION OF DOLBY SURROUND PRO LOGIC AND EVALUATION METHOD Outline • Namely, two speakers are connected in parallel to one amplifier. • In the Pro Logic BYPASS mode the amplifier for C-ch (center channel) and the amplifier for S-ch (surround channel) are in MUTE state. The SP output is cut. • In the normal mode of Pro Logic ON mode the amplifiers for C-ch and S-ch are in operative state, so that the SP output appears.
CD-PC3500 NOTES ON SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM • Resistor: To differentiate the units of resistors, such symbol as K and M are used: the symbol K means 1000 ohm and the symbol M means 1000 kohm and the resistor without any symbol is ohm-type resistor. Besides, the one with “Fusible” is a fuse type. • Capacitor: To indicate the unit of capacitor, a symbol P is used: this symbol P means micro-micro-farad and the unit of the capacitor without such a symbol is microfarad.
