CHARGING THE HANDSET BATTERY Charge the handset battery a full 10 hours before using. Place the handset on the base cradle. The battery is inside this cover. The IN USE/CHARGE Indicator lights. The phone may work before the 10 hours are up, but it's best to let the battery charge fully. It it's more convenient for you to do so, you can leave the handset in the base unit ali the time. It is impossible to overcharge the battery.
WALL MOUNTING This unit can be mounted on a wall phone plate. ou do not have & modular wall plate installed, we recommend that you consul with your telephone company or installer to have one installed. 1 2 3 Slide out the handset hook, turn it around and slide it back down into the slot until it snaps into place. MAKING A CALL Making a call with the handset Antenna " Extend the antenna of the handset fully when using it. Slide the VOLUME control toward Hl to increase, or toward NORMAL to decrease the sound level in the handset. PROGRAMMING THE AUTOMATIC DIAL NUMBERS The base unit can store 20 different telephone numbers {10 in the upper memory locations and 10 in the lower memory locations). Phone numbers can be programmed in the upper memory location for access by both the base unit and the handset. However, the lower emery location can only be accessed from the base unit.
