Intrusion/Attack Detection
If the same IP address is accessed more than the specified number of times during a certain period, access from that IP
address is prohibited. In addition, IP addresses for which access is prohibited are managed as a reception refusal list,
and the reception refusal status is released (deleted) with administrator authority.
The IP addresses subject to the rejection are recorded in the audit log and sent to E-mail alert address lists 1 and 2 and
E-mail alert dealer address list.

SSL Settings
SSL can be used for data transmission over a network.
SSL is a protocol that enables the encryption of information communicated over a network. Encrypting data makes it
possible to transmit and receive sensitive information safely.
Data encryption can be set by the following protocols.
Server Port
HTTPS: Apply SSL encryption to HTTP communication.
IPP-SSL: Apply SSL encryption to IPP communication.
Redirect HTTP to HTTPS in Device Web Page Access:
When this setting is enabled, all communication that attempts to access the machine by HTTP is redirected
to HTTPS.
When you want to send e-mail to the E-mail alert address list or E-mail alert dealer address list, enable [Security Alert] in
[E-mail Alert] (page 8-119
).
If sending the e-mail fails, it will not be resent.
Item Settings
IP Address Displays the rejected IP addresses. The default setting is "OFF".
Start Time of Incoming Packet
Denials
Displays the date and time when reception rejection started.
Total Displays the number registered in the reject list.
