Continuing playback from where you stopped (continued playback)
This function operates for audio CDs, video CDs and DVD discs.
1 Press the

Ë STOP button to stop playback at the desired point.

Leave the disc in the DVD player.
The DVD player automatically stores the location at which the
disc stopped.
2 Press the RESUME button on the remote control.
Playback resumes from a point just before the location stored
in step 1.
This function cannot be used during PBC playback of a video CD with
PBC.
The continued playback described here may not be possible on some
discs (such as discs that automatically start playing when the disc tray
closes).
If you stop the disc as described in step 1 above and then switch to
the SET UP screen, press the MENU button on the remote control,
switch to Standby mode, or eject the disc, continued playback will not
work.
Using Headphone
Preparation:
When you are using headphones, always set the SPEAKER setting
in SET UP to “2ch/DIGITAL”.
You can use any set of headphones to listen to the sound.
1 Plug the headphones into the PHONES jack on the DVD player.
2 Use the PHONES LEVEL knob on the DVD player to control the
headphones volume.
Be sure that your headphones have a 6.5mm diameter plug.
Caution:
Avoid listening to sound at levels which may be harmful to your ears.
