diagram of the current speaker setup.

Select 2ch/DIGITAL, 5ch or 5.1ch as the speaker system type.
2ch/DIGITAL — Select this option when you are connecting to
the audio input on a stereo TV or to audio equipment that uses
2 speakers.
Digital Output:
Always use the “2ch/DIGITAL” setting if you are using the
OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT or DIGITAL OUT connectors.
For a monaural TV, use the “2ch/DIGITAL setting.
If you are connecting to 2-channel audio equipment or a TV
(connected to AUDIO OUTFRONT), do not select “5ch” or
5.1ch” as this could result in defective sound.
5ch — Select this option when you are connecting to audio
equipment that uses 5 speakers.
(2 front speakers, 1 centre speaker, 2 surround speakers)
5.1ch — Select this option when you are connecting to audio
equipment that uses 6 speakers.
(2 front speakers, 1 centre speaker, 2 surround speakers and
1 subwoofer)
Analogue Output:
Always use the “5ch” or “5.1ch” setting if you are using the
AUDIO OUT “FRONT”, “SURROUND”, “CENTER” or
“SUBWOOFER” connectors.
3 Press the \ or | button in
to select the number of channels
(“2ch/DIGITAL” “5ch” or “5.1ch”).
If your speaker system does not match the schematic OSD, you will not be able to play back the true original
sound. In this event, use the2ch/DIGITAL” setting.
4 If you want to complete the settings here, press the ENTER button on the remote control to exit the setup
procedure. If you intend to specify the next setting, proceed to its step 1 using the ' or " button in
