Continuing Playback from where you stopped (Continued Playback)
This function operates for audio CDs, video CDs and DVD discs.
1 Press the
ËË
ËË
Ë STOP button to stop playback at the desired point.
Leave the disc in the DVD player.
The DVD player automatically stores the location at which the disc
stopped.
2 Press the RESUME button on the remote control.
Playback resumes from a point just before the location stored in
step 1.
This function cannot be used during PBC playback of a video CD with
PBC.
The continued playback described here may not be possible on some
discs (such as discs that automatically start playing when the disc tray
closes).
Once you have stopped the disc as described in step 1, if you then
switch to the SET UP screen, press the MENU button on the remote
control or eject the disc, continued playback will not work.
Using Headphone
Preparation:
When you are using headphones, always set the SPEAKER setting
in SET UP to “2ch/DIGITAL”.
You can use headphones to listen to the sound.
1 Plug the headphones into the PHONES jack on the DVD player.
2 Use the PHONES LEVEL knob on the DVD player to control the
headphones volume.
Be sure that your headphones have a 6.5mm diameter plug.
When headphones are connected to the headphones jack while
listening to sound with the 5.1-channel system, the sound output from
the audio output terminals changes to that of 2-channel (stereo).
Caution:
Avoid listening to sound at levels which may be harmful to your ears.
