Strongest level
• Select the desired level.
• If no button is pressed for 10 seconds,
the level indicator goes off.
• DIGITAL S.PICTURE is a digital image quality enhancement
function that gives a clearer image by sharpening the details and
outlines in the image and reducing the amount of picture noise.
The DIGITAL S.PICTURE setting can be varied as desired.
• To see more detail in very intricate images, set this setting to
SP
.
• To reduce visual noise and obtain a clearer picture when you are
viewing recordings such as old movies, set this setting to
NR
.
1 Each time you press the DIGITAL S.PICTURE button, the
screen changes as shown below.
(The Digital Super Picture mode is set to ON at the factory.)
2 If you press the \ or | button in
once when the S.PICTURE:
ON screen is displayed, the level selection indicator appears
(eg. S.PICTURE:

NR SP
). When this level
selection indicator is displayed, you can use the \ or | button in
to change the level.
• If no change is made for 10 seconds after the level is set, the level indicator goes off.
