Setup
Setting the PRO LOGIC
• At first, set the “SPEAKER” setting in “SPEAKER SETUP” to “5ch” or “5.1ch”.
(See page 56.)
1 While a disc is stopped, press SETUP to display the Setup screen.
2 Use ' or " to select the “ AUDIO SETUP”.
3 Press ENTER and then use ' or " to select “PRO LOGIC”.
4 Press ENTER to display the settings you
can select.
5 Use ' or " to select “ON” or “OFF”.
ON: Use this setting when playing a disc recorded in Dolby Pro Logic
audio with the “SPEAKER” setting set to “5ch” or “5.1ch”.
OFF: Use this setting when playing a disc not recorded in Dolby Surround
(Pro Logic) with the “SPEAKER” setting set to “2ch”.
6 Press ENTER to confirm the setting.
• To exit the Setup screen and return to the Startup screen, press SETUP
or RETURN.
• Whenever the “COMPRESSION” setting is “ON”, VIRTUAL DOLBY setting is
changed to “OFF” automatically.
• Only DVDs that have been recorded using Dolby Pro Logic can be listened to in
Pro Logic.
