Turning Power On and Off

To turn power on and off

• With the OPERATE switch, you can change the power mode to “ON” or

“OFF”.

Hold mode

• To avoid pressing the wrong button by mistake, you can slide the

OPERATE switch to “HOLD” to disable all buttons on the Player.

• Even when the Player is in Hold mode, you can operate it using the

buttons on the Remote.

• In the following cases, the Indicator lamp on the front of the Player lights

green to let you know that power is on. This helps to ensure you do not

forget and leave power on.

1 When the display panel is closed with the Player’s power turned on

2 When the LCD display setting is “off” (see page 70)
