Programmed Playback
3 Use ' and " to cycle through numbers at
the currently selected (highlighted)
position, and then press | to move the
highlighting to the right.
For example, to play the 15th chapters
first:
Pressing | while “-” is displayed for a
digit enters “0” for the third digit.
Use ' and " to cycle through numbers at the second digit until “1” is
displayed, and then press | to move the highlighting to the first digit.
Use ' and " to display “5” for the first digit, and then press | to move
the highlighting to the next chapter number.
Repeat the procedure above if you want to input other chapter numbers.
You can input up to 20 chapters in the sequence in which you want
them to play.
4 After you have specified all chapter numbers you want, press | to move
the highlighting to the next. Then press ENTER to start play in the
sequence you specified.
Chapters are played in the sequence you specified.
When entering chapter numbers that do not exist on the disc in step 3,
this operation is disabled.
Press RETURN if you want to exit the above screens.
You cannot program the play sequence while a disc is playing.
Play sequence programming does not work with a disc that does not include
chapter information.
Play sequence programming does not work with a disc that disables
programming. The indicator ø is displayed when playing back such discs.
Play sequence programming does not work immediately after you load a disc into
the Player. It can be used only after the disc has been played, even if only
partially.
To stop programmed play
1 Press Ë (STOP).
The number you input is not stored in memory if there is no corresponding
chapter number on the disc. Make sure you input chapter numbers correctly.
If you input the wrong number, press \ and then re-input.
To exit the programming procedure part way through, press RETURN.
