“Automatic Channel Preset” if you intend to use some of the pre-
tuned channels.

• When a weak signal is received in Manual Tuning mode, you
can change the background to solid blue or the static screen by
pressing CLEAR/C-RESET.

• You can select position number 01-99.

If you want to remove scrambled signals, press Cursor K / L repeat-
edly to point to “DECODER”. Then, press Cursor B to select “ON”.

• When a channel is found, the VCR/DVD will stop searching and
“ON” changes to “OFF” on the right side of “SKIP” automatically
and the picture will appear on the TV screen.
• If “ON” appears on the right side of “SKIP”, press Cursor B to
cancel the selecting position number then press Cursor K / L
to point “SKIP”. Then press Cursor B to select “OFF”.
• You can select desired channel number by using
the Number buttons. You must refer to the following Channel
Plan table and press three digits to select the channel number.
(To select channel 24, first press 0 and then press 2 and 4.)

• To confirm that a channel has been added, press CH K / L.
Hint
• Usually, this VCR/DVD distinguishes the colour system, which
should be set according to the broadcasting. However, if there is
no picture when you tried to recording of the TV programme, the
VCR/DVD might have set the colour system wrongly. If so, change
the “VIDEO MODE” according to the correct colour system in your
area.
