EN INITIAL SETTINGS Plug & Play Auto Clock Set/Auto Tuner Set ATTENTION If you use a cable box, Plug & Play will not function; set the clock and tuner channels manually. (Z pg.10 – 14) The Plug & Play function sets the clock and tuner channels automatically when power is first connected to the VCR. The antenna cable must be connected for the Plug & Play function. The time and date can be set automatically from clock setting data that is transmitted by one of the regular TV broadcast channels.

EN TIMER RECORDING VCR Plus+® Timer Programming Timer recording allows you to program the VCR to automatically record a program that will be broadcast at some future time. The timer record function can be programmed using the VCR Plus+ or Express Timer programming up to 6 shows each on the VHS and DV decks as far as a year in advance. (Z pg. 40 or 44) The VCR Plus+ timer programming system eliminates the need to input channel, date, start and stop time data when setting the timer record function.

You can also insert Fade/Wipe effects between scenes (Z pg. 55), and make changes to the video by using Playback Effects. Random Assemble Editing is possible only when dubbing from the DV deck to the VHS deck.

Monitoring the audio-dubbed sound is not possible during audio dubbing using the DV deck. ● This is normal.
