Conventional interlaced scanning constitutes one second with 30 frames (60 fields), but progressive scanning constitutes it with 60 frames from scratch. Progressive scanning can reproduce sharper picture with high resolution for still image or other picture containing long texts or horizontal lines.

I If your player is set to a lower level than the disc, the disc would not play. I The player does not play certain scenes on some discs that support the Country/Area Code feature, depending on the Country/Area Code you set. I Not all discs use Parental Lock and will play without requiring the password first.
