Hint for Timer Recording • If there is a power failure or the VCR/DVD has been unplugged for more than 30 seconds, the clock setting and all timer settings will be lost. • If a tape is not in the VCR/DVD or does not have the record tab, the TIMER and lights flash and timer recording cannot be performed. Please insert a recordable tape. • If a tape ends during timer recording, the VCR will stop, eject the tape, and switch to the DVD mode automatically as the TIMER and lights flash.

Playing the disc recorded in VR mode (Video Recording format) Zoom DVD-V DVD-V VR mode DVDs recorded in VR mode can have a PLAYLIST assigned to alter the order or content to be played. MP3 Playback MP3 is a method of compressing files. You can copy MP3 files on CD-RW/Rs from the computer and play the files on this unit. 2 DVD MP3 STOP Insert a MP3-format disc, then press the MENU button to call up the MP3 menu on the TV screen.

D PARENTAL Setting Parental Control limits the disc viewing that exceed your settings. (if an incorrect password is entered, the disc will not play) This feature prevents your children from viewing inappropriate materials. Parental Le vels Parental Level allows you to set the rating levels of your DVD discs. Playback will stop if the ratings exceed the levels you set. Follow the steps 1) to 3) in the “CUSTOM Menu” section on page 23.

Troubleshooting Guide If this unit does not perform properly when operated as instructed in this Operation Manual, check this unit consulting the following checklist. PROBLEM D V D V C R No power.
