6.1.2 High-Current Output Ports
The high-current output ports are Port 2 and Port 9. Port 2 is bit-addressable; Port 9 is not.
These ports are driven continuously in both the HIGH and LOW output states. They can drive
a minimum of 12 mA. Figure 6-2 shows an equivalent circuit for a high-current output pin.
While the output
pins
are write-only, the PORT2 and PORT9
registers
are read/write.
Reading the register will return the last value written.
