8.3.8 TCMPOE (Timer Compare Output Enable) Register
The TCMPOE (timer compare output enable) register determines which compare units are
driven onto external pins. By enabling the compare units but disabling output, the compare
units can be used to generate interrupts without occupying I/O pins.
