Tip
• The volume varies depending on the Ringer Volume
settings (p. 139). To adjust the volume, press a or
b, or the side-up or side-down key. The volume is 0
when “Ringer Volume” is set to “Silent” and 1 when
set to “Step Tone”.
Sending Voice Clips
1. Perform steps 1 to 4 in “Recording a Voice Clip” on
page 125.
2. Press to stop recording.
3. Press a or b to highlight “Save and Send”, then
press to select.
4. Perform steps 4 to 6 in “Creating a New MMS” on
page 66.
Note
• “Save and Send” is not displayed after recording in
extended voice mode.
Melody Editor
You can create an original ringtone, or you can send a
melody attached to a multimedia message.
You can input up to 95 tones × 32 voices, 190 tones ×
16 voices, or 380 tones × 8 voices per melody.
The original ringtone is registered in the handset
memory.
Creating Your Original Ringtone
1. Press to display the Main menu.
2. Press a, b, c or d to highlight “Applications”,
then press to select.
3. Press a or b to highlight “Melody Editor”,
then press to select.
4. Press a or b to highlight “Create New”, then
press to select.
5. Enter the title.
Up to 24 characters can be entered.

Characters” on page 32.
