External Display (M7-1-8)
You can change the settings of the Sub-Screen Display.
To Turn On/Off the Sub-Screen Display
You can turn the Sub-Screen Display on or off when the
phone is closed.
1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in “Changing the Language” on
page 84.
2. Press or to select “External Display”,
then press .
3. Press or to select “LCD On/Off”, then press
.
4. Select “On” to set Sub-Screen Display on or “Off”
to set Sub-Screen Display off by pressing or
, then press .
To Turn On/Off the Backlight of the Sub-Screen
Display
You can turn the backlight of the Sub-Screen Display
on or off when the phone is closed.
You can also change or specify the duration of the Sub-
Screen Display backlight.
1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in “Changing the Language” on
page 84.
2. Press or to select “External Display”,
then press .
3. Press or to select “Backlight”, then press
.
4. Select “On” to set backlight on or “Off” to set
backlight off by pressing or , then press .
When you select “On” in step 4:
5. Enter the duration of the backlight using 2 digits,
then press .
To Adjust the LCD Contrast of the Sub-Screen
You may sometimes need to adjust the LCD contrast of
the Sub-Screen to suit certain lighting conditions.
1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in “Changing the Language” on
page 84.
