Memory Card
Making and Restoring a Backup File
With a memory card inserted in your phone, you can
make backup files of Bookmarks, Text, Contacts,
Calendar and Tasks in the handset memory card to the
memory card. You can also restore the backup data
from the memory card.
To Make a Backup File
“Settings”
→
“Connectivity”
→
“Memory Card”
→
“Backup/Restore”
→
“Backup”
1. Enter your handset code.
The default handset code is “9999”. For details on
changing the handset code, see “Changing the
Handset Code” on page 119.
2. Select the desired item to backup or “Select All” to
backup all files.
To Restoring a Backup File
“Settings”
→
“Connectivity”
→
“Memory Card”
→
“Backup/Restore”
→
“Restore”
1. Enter your handset code.
2. Select the desired item to restore or “Select All” to
restore all files.
3. Select the desired file to restore.
A confirmation message indicating deletion from
the handset memory is displayed.
4. Press [Yes].
Note
• To delete a backup file, highlight the desired item,
press [Options] and select “Delete” after performing
steps 1 to 3.

1. Enter your handset code.

2. Press [Yes] to start formatting.
