142 Connecting GX40 to Your PC
Software Installation
1. Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM
drive.
The GX40 CD-ROM screen is displayed.
If the GX40 CD-ROM screen is not displayed,
double-click [Launcher.exe] in your CD-ROM.
2. Press the desired button.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete
installation.
Note
• The phone may not recognise the USB data cable if it
is connected while an application (Camera, My
Items, etc.) is running. Connect the USB data cable in
standby.
GSM modem
• It is not recommended that you make or answer calls
when you are using GX40 as a GSM modem. The
operation may be interrupted.
Handset Manager, Music Manager, Sync Manager
• It is not recommended that you answer calls when
you are using GX40 with Handset Manager/Music
Manager/Sync Manager.
• Some large files may not be able to be transmitted
from the PC to the phone.
• Applications (Camera, My Items, etc.) do not run
when the phone is connected to the PC via Bluetooth
wireless technology interface, USB data cable.
• Data under copyright protection may not be sent
successfully.
